Ukraine’s first interactive dashboard for monitoring the Just Transition Action Plan!

Following the approval of Ukraine’s first Just Transition Action Plan for a coal-mining microregion, Lviv Region became the first region to establish a comprehensive and transparent system for monitoring its implementation📊

As a result of extensive analytical work conducted as part of the Power4JustTransition project and in collaboration with the Department of Economic Policy of the Lviv Regional State Administration, a modern interactive dashboard has been launched. It allows for the rapid identification of deviations from the plan, faster detection of risks, assessment of project implementation effectiveness, and timely decision-making regarding adjustments to measures.

The tool is now available to everyone on the Lviv Region Analytical Portal or directly via this link: https://cutt.ly/Gt3AxczL

What can the new dashboard do?

“Behind every indicator in the monitoring system lie real changes for communities and people. We sought to create a tool that shows not only the number of projects implemented or funds disbursed, but also the extent to which a just transition is changing the situation on the ground. We hope that the experience of the Lviv region will be useful for other regions and communities in Ukraine,” emphasized Halyna Lytvyn, head of the Power4JustTransition project component.

The Power4JustTransition project is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) Ukraine: Energy and Climate on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie).
