the Sheptytskiy community has officially joined the implementation of the second phase of the Swiss-Ukrainian DECIDE project!

The Just Transition Agency team has achieved another success: the Sheptytskiy community has officially joined the implementation of the second phase of the Swiss-Ukrainian DECIDE project, which will run from 2026 to 2030. The competitive selection process lasted nearly three months, and among 231 applications from communities in eight regions of Ukraine, our community was selected as one of forty finalists who will receive comprehensive support in reforming the education sector and local self-government.
Within the framework of the project, we will focus on transforming the educational landscape through the implementation of specialized school reform and the professional development of teachers, school administrators, and school psychologists. In addition, the community will receive expert guidance in developing an education development strategy and a portfolio of investment projects, as well as grant support for the implementation of educational initiatives, subject to co-financing.
The project includes a series of professional trainings, consultations, and experience-sharing programs that will help us implement key educational reforms more effectively at the local level.
We are proud that the project proposal, developed and submitted by the Agency’s team, was selected from among 231 applicants and will open up new educational opportunities for our community. We are grateful to the Swiss-Ukrainian DECIDE project for its trust and willingness to work together to create “Schools of Active Democracy.” Ahead of us lie four years of intensive work, the result of which will be a modern, effective, and future-oriented education system in our community.
The future is created now. Join the movement for change alongside the Agency!
