Just Transition Agency team took part in a warm event called “Family Gathering,” which took place as part of the “Shelter Sheptytskyi” project. The event was timed to coincide with the opening of the Dobropil community hub “Dobropilshchyna – the Power of Unity,” created to support displaced persons from Donetsk Oblast in our community.

The event was attended by:

• Volodymyr Koval, Deputy Mayor of Sheptytskyi;
• Vitaliy Shevchenko, Secretary of the Dobropillia City Council;
• Galina Kruk, Coordinator of the Shelter Project;
• Eleonora Syniehubova, Chair of the Council for the Protection of IDP Rights;
• Sofia Vorozhbit, Representative of the NGO “Right to Protection”;
• Members of the NGO “Diy-Ya-Ty”
• Representatives of the Christian Evangelical Church “Gethsemane”

Just Transition Agency team presented development opportunities for IDPs and local residents: retraining, education, implementation of entrepreneurial ideas, and partnership with the Agency.

The new hub is intended to become a space for unity, mutual support, and development, where everyone can find help, advice, or simply a community that understands.

Just Transition Agency supports such initiatives because just transformation is not only about economic change but, above all, about people and communities growing together.
